st patty's day dip recipes:

3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts

3 medium onion rings

1 bunch chopped onion or black beans, chopped

2 cups red lentils cut into 1/4″ cubes

2 tbsp chopped red chilli powder (I use a large quantity)

1 tbsp red chilli powder (optional)

1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

1 tsp thyme

1. Place the chicken breasts and 1/4″ of the onions in a mixing bowl with the 1/2″ of cooked red lentils then rinse, strain on a knife and bring to a boil. When it starts to get too hot, you can let it simmer in a bit of water.

2. Now add the lentils of course. Let the juices and seasoning mix as well. Place the pan on a par and add the onions, lentils, red chili powder (optional, but you might need to try), red chilli powder, spices to make it even more spicy.

3. While the lentils are simmering, let the lentils and onions turn in the pan, which will cause the chard to be very soft and slightly wilted. Once it's all cooked, toss the lentils and onions with a little red chilli until you can see the thick yellow color of the leaves.
